Bobby Tessel is one of only a few comics to appear on both, “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno”, and “The Late Show with David Letterman”. What does that mean? For some, quite a bit, for others, not much really. But he’s done it, and better to have those credits than not have them. Bobby also won the Northern Californian Comedy Competition and was a Finalist in the San Francisco International Stand-Up Comedy Competition. Bobby has his own comedy special, titled, “Not Right Now” on Dry Bar, as well. After high school, Bobby attended Arizona State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education. He then proceeded to utilize that education by pursuing a career in stand-up comedy. Tessel’s first time on stage was to a packed house at the Funnybone Comedy Club in Cincinnati, and he destroyed the room. Since that night, he hasn’t looked back. “I love stand-up”, Tessel says, “I love putting words in a sequence, that no one in the entire world has ever thought of, in order to get a desired response, laughter. I think that’s cool.”
