For the 10th season, IN A LANDSCAPE: Classical Music in the Wild tours the American West. Mountain tops, old-growth forests, and sunny meadows replace the traditional concert hall in the series featuring pianist Hunter Noack on a 9-foot Steinway concert grand piano. Listen through wireless headphones and wander afield with the music as a soundtrack to your experience in the wild.


Summer at Schweitzer Mountain Resort means stunning mountain views, mountain biking trails, huckleberry picking, and fresh alpine air. Join us for a ride up the chairlift for an IN A LANDSCAPE experience with breathtaking views up into Canada, and over the impressive Lake Pend Oreille. Thank you to the Resort for their partnership in bringing the series up the mountain, and to our friends at Kaniksu Land Trust who first introduced us to Sandpoint and these amazing lands on the ancestral territory of the Kalispel, Coeur d’Alene, Cayuse, Umatilla, Walla Walla, and Ktunaxa People.

Seating
Bring your own low back chairs or blankets.
No seating provided.


Accessibility
To access the concert site, a chairlift ride to the summit is required. The walk from the parking lot to the bottom of the chairlift is up to 400 yards. Limited ADA parking is available and there is an accessible path from the ADA spots to the chairlift. If you'd like to hike to the concert site, it is 2.5 miles up the mountian via a rocky trail.


Food & Beverages
Outside food and drink are permitted. Bring a picnic! Food and beverages are available for purchase in the Village and adjacent to the concert site.


Dogs
Not allowed on the chairlift, but guests can hike with their dogs to the concert site.


Smoking
Prohibited at all IN A LANDSCAPE concert sites.


Refunds & Cancellations
All ticket purchases are final. There are no refunds unless IN A LANDSCAPE cancels the performance. The show goes on regardless of weather.
