Wax Monkey

Wax Monkey is a 5-piece jam band composed of childhood friends hailing from Birmingham, Alabama. The members first started jamming together in high school before officially forming the band in 2023 while attending the University of Alabama.  Rooted in the spirit of musical exploration, Wax Monkey draws inspiration from legends such as The Grateful Dead, Phish, and The Allman Brothers Band—blending aspects of Southern rock, psychedelic rock, and improvisational jams.

OMIWIMO is a Charleston-based Jam Band blending psychedelic rock, funk, and groove-driven improvisation into a sound that’s as unpredictable as it is infectious. Known for their genre-defying live sets, the band delivers dynamic performances that fuse tight musicianship with exploratory energy, moving seamlessly from deep-pocket funk to expansive jam segments.

The band has shared stages with rising national acts like Dogs in a Pile, Neighbor, Space Armadillo & Tom Hamilton and continues to build momentum throughout the Southeast. With a growing regional following and a commitment to artistic risk-taking, OMIWIMO is quickly becoming a name to know in the jam scene.
