Joanne proudly presents a collaboration show with Arlene’s Grocery called “Joanne Sessions.” Joanne is a dinner and show event space located on the UWS owned by Joe Germanotta, Lady Gaga’s father. Joanne has transformed from a neighborhood Italian restaurant into a full service entertainment venue and artist development platform. Through the Emerging Artist Pipeline, Joanne has been providing artists of all experience levels with a place to perform and develop their talent. They have selected 5 of the top talents to bring downtown, and with the help of Arlene’s Grocery, we are happy to present them to the LES audience.

Shaila Murdock @shailamurdock
Shaila Murdock is a dynamic NYC based performer blending raw emotion with powerful vocals and genre-bending sound. A lifelong music lover, she has been singing for as long as she can remember. She later earned a BFA in Musical Theatre from Shenandoah University, where she honed her vocal technique, stagecraft, and storytelling abilities. With additional experience in event management, she brings both artistic vision and production insight to every performance. Influenced by artists like Adele, Lady Gaga, and Beyoncé, her style fuses soulful storytelling with bold, high-energy delivery. Shaila is thrilled to perform at Arlene's Grocery for the first time!

Grace Romanello @graceromanello
Grace Romanello is a 27 year old actress, singer, and dancer. She was a swing and dance captain in the Mean Girls Broadway Tour from 2019–2023 and has performed for Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise lines. Originally from Rhode Island, she now happily lives in NYC and continues to perform around the city. 

Abbey Hutchins @abbeyyhutchins
Abbey Hutchins is a Jersey City-based singer and actress working toward a Master’s in Vocal Performance at New York University. Though studying musical theatre, Abbey specializes in jazz and folk stylings and has a soft spot for the standards. Abbey can’t wait to make her Bitter End debut and pay homage to the New York folk scene of the 60s. 

Michael Daley @themichaeldaly
Michael Daly is a theatrical performer, songwriter, and producer whose work bridges stage and contemporary music. With a foundation in live performance, he brings a strong sense of storytelling and presence to his craft. Alongside his theatrical background, he develops original music as an independent artist, recently releasing his single and accompanying music video, Psycho, as part of his evolving body of work.

Shelbea Owen @shelbeamowen
Shelbea Owen is a New York City–based performer and graduate of Shenandoah University, known for her dynamic presence both on stage and online. Blending her performance background with digital creativity, she hosts engaging Twitch streams where she plays video games, performs, and shares lifestyle content. Her work reflects a modern, multifaceted approach to entertainment, connecting with audiences through both live performance and interactive media.
