Blues Condition is a Northern Virginia-based quartet playing hot blues and jumping roots rock, and providing a fun atmosphere wherever they play.
Blues Condition has developed a mix of compelling blues and other roots music including rockabilly, old rock and roll, soul, and surf, but we can also perform some great classic rock covers. We've played hundreds of club gigs as well as municipal
concerts for Hyattsville MD, Charlotte NC, and Winchester, Haymarket, Strasburg, and Fairfax County in VA.
Our CD “Moon Over Main Street” gets airplay locally (WPFW, 89.3 FM) and on Internet blues radio stations around the world. It combines six studio tracks with nine songs recorded live at Madigan’s Waterfront, Occoquan, VA. Songs include BC’s arrangements of six classic blues by artists including Elmore James, Howlin’ Wolf, John Lee Hooker, and Robert Johnson himself, plus a few more modern blues, some dance grooves and two originals.

The Leading End is a roots rock meets power pop in a new band comprised of veteran DC songwriters and musicians playing original melodic rock'n'roll, making their live debut on the Earp's Ordinary stage. Their self-titled debut EP is available now and a follow-up is expected later this Fall. For fans of Tom Petty, Wilco, The Jayhawks, The Smithereens, and The Replacements.
